Rashid Khan was looking for his third six of the over. Unfortunately he doesn't get the same connection and he picks out the fielder in the deep. A handy cameo though which gives Afghanistan momentum going forward.
It was a bit of a roller coaster innings with Zimbabwe initially starting strong before a second wicket partnership set Afghanistan up well. The bowlers fought back though and took quick wickets which threatened to derail Afghanistan but some big hits at the end got them to 241. Decent bowling display but can Zimbabwe's batsmen back it up and chase down this total?

The innings didn't get off to a good start with an early wicket and from then on only two batsmen managed to apply themselves. Brendan Taylor and Craig Ervine needed to bat a lot longer but with spin creating lots of pressure once they fell the new batsmen struggled coming in and the middle-order was blown away.
Looking forward to the World Cup Qualifiers, Afghanistan can take a lot of confidence with them but Zimbabwe will need to play a lot better if they are to make it to the main tournament.
