The fourth run-out as Boult is found to be just short of his crease attempting the second. New Zealand managed to salvage 223 from their 50 after struggling at 147-8. They have their lower-order to thank with Colin de Grandhomme and Mitchell Santner putting on a very good partnership with Santner going on to score his maiden ODI fifty. Still looks like a below-par total though and England will feel they are in the driving seat with their strong batting line-up.

That will do nicely. Buttler sends another ball into the crowd and seals the game with a six, just as New Zealand did in the first ODI. England snap the Kiwi's nine game home winning streak with a very comprehensive victory after the bowlers did the hard work early on. Credit has to go to both fielding sides with plenty of excellent catches on show as well as some brilliant ground fielding.
Ben Stokes and Eoin Morgan did a professional job with the bat which would please the England camp after they both needed runs for different reasons. We now move onto Wellington for the third ODI on Saturday with the series tied at 1-1.
