Noor Ali Zadran (Afghanistan) notched up a score of 51 in men’s T20Is in the quarterfinal against Sri Lanka; Zadran, thereby, became the second-oldest Afghanistan batter to score a 50 in the formal at 35 years and 86 days of age, behind only Mohammad Nabi (38 years and 194 days).
Aamer Jamal’s 41 off 16 balls against Hong Kong is the joint second-highest score by any tailender (No.8-11) for Pakistan in men’s T20Is (Anwar Ali – 46 v Sri Lanka on 1 August 2015); his strike rate of 256 is also the second-highest by any Pakistan tailender to face at least 10 balls in an innings, again behind Anwar Ali (271).
