It has been a comprehensive victory for the visitors as they bowled out Sri Lanka cheaply before the batsmen chipped in and knocked the runs off with ease. They had a couple of scares against the spinners but they knew they had plenty of time to chase this low total and gave themselves chance to get in.
Faf du Plessis and Quinton de Kock were unlucky to miss out on half-centuries but they will take confidence going forward. For Sri Lanka they didn't have a great day but Akila Dananjaya impressed with the ball as he returned 3-50.
