Ravindra is honest that neither of them possesses the raw power of some of the bigger hitters in the format, so instead they focus on finding the gaps and running hard between the wickets. On whether the pitch eased out as the game went on, Ravindra is in full agreement. Welsh Fire thought they had a breakthrough when Jason Roy and Sam Curran fell on consecutive deliveries, but Nicholas Pooran and James Vince steadied the ship with a crucial 32-run stand. Vince was outstanding, he rotated the strike, left well, ran hard, and found the boundary with ease on his way to 66. Both Welsh Fire and MI London had the upper hand at different stages, but it was the hosts who held their nerve in the final moments to seal a 15-run win in Cardiff. After posting 168, Welsh Fire had to dig deep with the ball as MI London pushed them right to the last set, turning it into an absolute nail-biter at Sophia Gardens.

That's the game for the hosts. A memorable game at Sophia Gardens as Welsh Fire win by 15 runs. They have two wins in two games now and go top of the table. Fuller length, sliding in on the pads. Rutherford whips it away behind square for a single on the leg side. That's been a sensational spell of death bowling from the hosts, choking the life out of London's chase right when it mattered.

OUT! BOWLED! Ferguson shines under pressure and picks up his 4 wicket. That should be the game for the hosts as Rutherford is still off strike. He cannons one in on a fuller length, aiming the stumps. Tom Curran backs away, exposes the stumps and has a big swipe across the line, but plays all over it and the ball crashes into the stumps behind. That was a struggle all along for Tom Curran and he walks off. MI London are 150/6, needing 18 runs from 4 balls.

150 up for MI London! Another top notch set of five from Welsh Fire. A low full toss at the off stump. Rutherford reaches out and carves it to the fielder at backward point. They cross. But Rutherford will be off strike.

A lot fuller on middle. Sherfane Rutherford lifts it over the bowler but through the toe end. It sails over and plugs into the vacant long off region for a couple of runs.

That's a projectile from Jansen! A pinpoint yorker on the stumps. Sherfane Rutherford's head falls over and he just manages to drop the bat downto carve it out to mid off.

SIX! He connects, and connects so well this time. Clean strike. On a hard length by Jansen, around off. Sherfane Rutherford gets on the front foot, and powers it magnificently over the deep cover fence for a massive six.

Swing and miss! Back of a length, far outside off. It lands and nips away with bounce. Sherfane Rutherford throws his hands away to carve it over point but gets no connection whatsoever.

A nice bluff from Cook, as he bowls a sharp bumper, outside off, taking all the pace. Sherfane Rutherford initially lines up to play the ramp shot, but leaves it.
