প্রথম থেকেই এদিন দুই দলই গোলের জন্য ঝাঁপিয়েছিল। তাই আক্রমণ ও পাল্টা আক্রমণে বেশ জমে উঠেছিল খেলা। তবে ২৬ মিনিটে ৩০ গজ দূর থেকে এক দুর্দান্ত ফ্রিকিকে ভারতকেই প্রথম এগিয়ে দিয়েছিলেন দালিমা। তবে ৮ মিনিট পরই সবিত্রার গোলে ম্য়াচে সমতা এনে দারুণভাবে ম্যাচে ফিরেছিল নেপাল। বিরতিতে ফলাফল ১-১'ই ছিল।
