রবিবার অস্ট্রেলিয়ার রান তাড়া করতে গিয়ে আরও একটি দুর্দান্ত ইনিংস খেলার পর বিরাট কোহলির প্রশংসা উপচে পড়ল টুইটারে।

সিডনিতে টি২০ সিরিজের শেষ ম্যাচে বিরাট কোহলি বুঝিয়ে দিয়েছেন অস্ট্রেলিয়া সফরের জন্য কতটা তৈরি। আরও একবার 'চেজমাস্টার'-এর হাত থেকে রান তাড়ার সময় বেড়িয়েছে দুরন্ত এক ইনিংস। যা ভয় ধরিয়ে দিয়েছে অজি বোলারদের বুকে।

ব্রিসবেনে প্রথম ম্যাচে ভারতকে হারতে হয়েছিল দুই ইংরেজের জন্য যাঁরকা আবার কোনদিন ক্রিকেটাটাই খেলেননি - ডার্কওয়ার্থ ও লুইস। তাদের অঙ্কেই অস্ট্রেলিয়ার তোলা ১৫৮ রান হয়ে গিয়েছিল ১৭৪! ভারতকে ৪ রানে হারতে হয়। সেই ম্যাচে বিরাটের ব্যাট থেকে বেরিয়েছিল ৬ বলে মাত্র ৪ রান।

মোলবোর্নে পরের ম্যাচ ভেস্তে যাওয়ায় ব্যাটের সুযোগ পাননি তিনি। কিন্তু শেষ ম্যাচে একেবারে দলকে জিতিয়ে তবে মাঠ ছেড়েছেন। দুই ওপেনার একেবারে বিধ্বংসী শৈলিতে শুরু করলেও তাঁরা প্যাভিলিয়নে ফেরার পরই কিন্তু চাপে পড়ে গিয়েছিল ভারত। অ্যাডাম জাম্পা ও ম্যাক্সওয়েলের স্পিনের জালে আটকে গিয়েছিল রান তোলার গতি। যার ফলে মারতে গিয়ে আউট হয়ে যান কেএল রাহুল।

উল্টো দিকে কোহলি কিন্তু সেই সময় ধৈর্য ধরে খুচরো রান নিয়ে স্কোরকার্ড সচল রেখেছিলেন। আবার শেষ দিকে দীনেশ কার্তিকের সঙ্গে ব্য়াট করার সময় গিয়ার চেঞ্জ করে দ্রুত রান তোলায় মন দিয়েছিলেন। তাঁর ইনিংসই কিন্তু দুই দলের মধ্যে পার্থক্য গড়ে দিয়েছে বলে মতামত উঠে এসেছে সোশ্যাল মিডিয়ায়। বিরাটের প্রশংসায় মেতেছেন প্রাক্তন অজি ক্রিকেট তারকা থেকে ক্রিকেট-পরিসংখ্যানবিদ, সমর্থক সবাই। একবার দেখে নেওয়া যাক কে কী বললেন।
