রাষ্ট্রসঙ্ঘে ইমরান খানের মন্তব্যের সমালোচনায় ভারতীয় ক্রিকেটাররা

ভারতীয় ক্রিকেট দলের ফাস্ট বোলার মহম্মদ শামি টুইটারে লিখেছেন, জীবনভর শান্তি ও ভালোবাসার বাণী ছড়িয়েছিলেন মহাত্মা গান্ধী। সেখানে রাষ্ট্রসঙ্ঘে পাক প্রধানমন্ত্রীর মন্তব্য অত্যন্ত কুরুচিকর বলে দাবি শামির। তিনি মনে করেন, পাকিস্তানে এমন একজন প্রধানমন্ত্রী প্রয়োজন, যিনি সেদেশের চাকরি ও উন্নয়নের কথা ভাববেন।

রাষ্ট্রসঙ্ঘে ইমরান খানের মন্তব্য ভারত ও পাকিস্তানের মধ্যে বিভেদ আরও চওড়া করবে বলেই মনে করেন প্রাক্তন ভারতীয় ক্রিকেটার ইরফান পাঠান।

টুইটারে পাক প্রধানমন্ত্রী ইমরান খানের মন্তব্যের তীব্র সমালোচনা করেছেন ভারতের প্রাক্তন অধিনায়ক মহম্মদ আজহারউদ্দিন। তাঁর কথায়, কোনও ক্রীড়া ব্যক্তিত্বের কাছ থেকে এমন মন্তব্য দুর্ভাগ্যজনক।
